soft top ?

we have had the soft top on now for about 2 months and the backwindow does not meet the back liftgate- is this normal? it has an opening of about 1 inch or less -which really isn' t a big deal except when it pours down rain..

Sounds like you might be missing the tailgate bar that the bottom of the wimdow goes into. Got a pic?

It is a bar that the rear window slide into that secures the window to the body at the tailgate and also seals it. I would show you a pic but my camera is at the office. Yoy can read through the owners manual or go here for a demonstation video of what I'm talking about.

Gotta get it back on. It's what holds the window to the brackets outside the tailgate. It slides into the channel on the bottom of the window and has ends that slide and clip into the window to hold everything in place.

Once it's back on and secure, it allows you to pull the window down and clip it into the brackets to stay secure and keep the seal against the tailgate for protection from the elements.
