Soft top probs

I have the hardest time trying to get the windows to zip on. No matter what I do I can never get the things to zip on. Would it help to just buy new ones or what? And suggestions?

Try setting just a little bit of the window to the velcro of the top to hold it up while you get the zipper goin. Also, don't have the door straps in place until you get the windows on

I attach the lower part of the rear velcro of the window to the upper part of the rear velcro of the top.. This helps hold the window to get the two zippers seated into each other fully before trying to pull.. Every now and again I'll put a little silicone spray or white lithium grease on the zippers to keep them going well..

I installed a Bestop Trektop NX on my TJ about 7 weeks ago.

I haven't really had any issues removing or reinstalling the side and rear windows/sides, of course it is very warm here in the AZ, but I just do a little at a time, start each part, then go back around and zip some more, etc...

I even took a trip to the White Mountains and the temps were in the 60's and no issues.

I just got the jeep and it has a best top on it. I do Velcro the top to hold it and it will go eventually if I wiggle the hell out of it I just feel like I'm going to break it lol. I did find out if you put some hi temp grease on the part that slides in then it becomes much easier to get it all the way slid into the zipper. I also got one of those clips that's people put on there belts and stuff to hold keys and put it through the hole of the zipper to get a better grip it helps out so much so when I'm done I just leave it clipped on my oh shit handles just in case it's needed lol

What does that zipper cleaner really do tho becaue the zippers a little corroded but not bad enough to matter I wouldn't think. One side is ripped tho where the material meets the pice that slides in

The ZipTeck keeps it lubed and easy to move. Much smoother operation and it won't collect dirt. Just my experience and thoughts on it. I've used it for 20 + years on all my wet and dry suits, camping gear, and now on Soft Tops. Works great for me.
Be careful with the clip thing, if its hard to move, it's that way for a reason. Remove the Stressor ! The dirt and such and lubricate the zipper and it should work fine.
Also, it will work fine when you have all the time you need and be a pain in the ass when you need it done NOW !
That's just the way life is. Lol
Gods Luck Bro !

I hit the zippers with vasoline using a tissue as a sort of applicator (slapped a big smudge of vasoline in the tissue), it's been over a month of Michigan summer and the zippers are still gliding along like butter
