Soft Top Replacement

My '07 Sahara 2 door is leaking pretty bad. I saw a leak repair guy for some quick damage control and the recommendation was a sailcloth top. My poor Jeep has no shield from the rain or sun...I don't have a garage at home or at work. Is sailcloth indeed a better material? Would it fit and function the same as my factory-installed top?
Thanks!

Sailcloth will be just fine. I think at one point, sail cloth was what the factory used. Sail cloth will be thicker than most of the replacement tops out there, but it will cost more too.

I am very pleased with my Best Top Sail Cloth top. I had an issue with the original one, but they cross shipped me a brand new one that has worked very well in the rain. The material is much thicker/heavier than the regular material.
