Soft top window fix

So, i'm confused here, my passengerside window where the plastic meets the fabric is disconnected i guess i would say, and it lets snow and air in, what would be the best way to fix this, i have it taped right now but i don't want to buy a new top or any of that so what are my options?

If you are talking about the clear plastic it is sewn along the top and sides. The bottom appears to be heat sealed. If along the bottom is where you are refering my only guess would be to sew it. you would have to add a cloth or canvas runner or strip to sew through so the plastic doesn't rip. This could be done at an awning or tarp shop. I think you would need a heavy duty machine. the seams take alot of pressure at highway speeds, I don't think any type glue would hold it. Also you would have to take it off of the frame I think. Somebody on here should have a fix. I think NASA looks here for advise sometimes!
It ain't easy being cheesy:

Sometimes I make decisions like famous people.
George Armstrong Custer "lets go over that hill, I think those are friendly indians!"

Titanic's Captain Smith "What icebergs? Full speed ahead!"
