Soft Top Windows: Zipper Lubrication?

I was just curious if anyone running an older rag top has experimented with lubricating the old zippers to make things go a little smoother? If so, what do you use?

Wax. Bee wax candle. No overspray and the dirt/dust won't stick to the zipper.

I have put everything I can think of one them. My back window has refused to zip in the corner for a year. WD40 just made the whole thing dirty on the trail honestly, and where it got on the back of the top, it stained it and made a dirt collector.

Oddly enough though, I took it in for service on my diff and complained about the back window. When I got it back the back window was completely zipped.

Glycerin soap. Washes out easier than waxy stuff when it gets dirty.

Nope, but I have had three flats fixed over at the local tire shop for free... without having purchased my tires there.

Hmm, not much of a consensus. The glycerin soap sounds the least messy. You just scratch the teeth of the zipper on the bar, etc.?

I've had the same trouble with my back window. I find that if you push in on the top corner it seems to go around easily.
