Softopper guys I need imput

My jeep stays topless year round so I've decided to ditch the hard top and go with a frameless Softopper. I have to sell my hard top and use that cash to get it so in the mean time I'm checking all my options...
I have soft uppers (most of the year I do not run doors at all) so I do not want the factory door surrounds on my jeep. The great thing about Softopper is their square tube surrounds however I would like for them to be quick removable. I've never seen close up pics of the surround mounting, how are they mounted? Can they be re-engineered to be quick dismounted say like pins insteda of screws? My ideal setup is Safari top pretty much all the time but if I want, throw on the doors, door surrounds and windows in for a long ride. Thanks for any advice you guys can give.

They are drilled and bolted to rollbar on my YJ. I don't see an issue with making it quick release. It's only a few bolts though so a quick release bit on your cordless bit makes quick work of it after measuring and drilling on initial install.

The door surrounds can not be removed completely and still run the top as a safari because it uses the upper section as a support to sinch the top tight.
So I did get my top in and I modified the surrounds to keep the upper section bolted on at all times and still be able to remove the lower section to run without doors.

Cut across vertically and extend it just past the turn down:

So the modified (top one) matches the original (underneith)

I will get some pics of it mounted on my Jeep. Both sections work fantastic, both with the bottom part on and off. Matches the bend and seals tight and with just a phillips driver I can pull the lower off and run no uppers/windows and there is no bar in my view. (I am tall and long armed and drive with my seat pushed back so that the door surround distracts from my side view)

Loved my soft-topper!
Ran it with stock door surronds, mostly doors off in safari mode. I liked it alot!
Best and only tops I'll go with....waiting to order one for my new LJ!
