Soundbar or not? That is the question

Ok, Im thinking about getting a soundbar or something similar in my 94 YJ. The question is, How do they sound? Are they worth the money? I know they are plastic, so I dont know how good the sound is going to be. Any other speaker recommendations would be appreciated as well. The 2 4x6 speakers in the dash have been changed out, but not anywhere near enough sound.

ya dude. i replaced my 4x6 and also my 4" in my soundbar. the 4x6 are completely useless. i can hear my 4" well except when on the freeway going 70-75mph. the soundbar is MUCH easier to hear than the 4x6 in the dash..

the sound bar will be night and day diffrence! I unhooked dash speakers, and put 6x9 in back, in town it sounds good, on the highway all you can hear is the sound bar!
