Spend my 50 bucks

I got a 50 dollar visa gift card. I am pretty tight financially right now, so I can't go over 50 bucks.

1. replace the GHETTO seat covers I got out of a repo, with the polycanvas ones in quadratec (the ones with the pockets all over em). Mine look like you took a blanket and draped them over the seat. Dont fit well at all (same style as the poly canvas, but straps are missing)

2. replace my CB mic that I think is broken. No one can recieve me, but I recieve fine.

3. replace my cobra 25 LTD with a uniden 520 or 538 (the cobras just a tad too big i think, plus I can sell it)

4. grab handles

5. save a little bit and pick up a kc light hoop for the front bumper, so I can get my fog lights back on

6. some other options.

Not really sure what I want to do yet, just looking for opinions. I would like to get the cb working again, weither its replacing it or the mic. Not sure whats wrong with it though. It worked fine for awhile, now I get no answers, other than being called a "firecracker." The seat covers I can do without, I could probably spring those soon anyway, just a thought. Grab handles would be nice, but I took the padding off my front roll bar anyway, so they aren't too important. the light hoop would be nice, so I can put my KC fogs back on, but i would have to take some time and save for that. I would prefer to keep it under 50, but lets see what you all can come up with. An extra 50 bucks I can deal with, but not much more anytime soon.

you wanna spend it on jeep stuff you're saying, if it was me i would put it towards gas or towards myy jeep, but i also only have a few things that i need moeny for

out of those choices i would go with getting the lights abck on, pay a little more than $50 and it wil amke the jeep safer, look better, and make it easier to see (so safer again!)

Man, that's tough.

I'd say lights too.

Light hoops are cool, so are fog lights, but they don't really go together, fogs should be mounted low...Seat covers (can you get them for 50?)...Heck, how about a full tank of gas, top it off with some injector cleaner? Both you and your JEEP will like that!

Gas and maintance are worked into my paycheck budget. I would rather spend my xmas money on the Jeep, rather than blow it on "usual" stuff. Odhinn and Odhinns chick run the seat covers I am talking about, they are about 45 bucks.

If I got the light hoop, I would put the fogs in the factory location, and move my hellas to the hoop.

I forgot to mention I can also get the Unidens for 50 bucks, not the regular price.

check around online for the seat covers, the CB mike you can get pretty cheap off ebay or amazon.com. leave the CB how it is right now cause it works. Replace as needed. hoop and lights are nice but if you have some on currently wouldn't you like to get something else that would improve something that you need or want? just my .02

I agree 100% fox, thats why I posted. There are reasons for everything on that list, I just can't seem to prioritize. The CB is a little too big for my liking, but it works I suppose. The passenger seat rubs it when it comes forward, wearing the seat a little, and the glove box kinda hits it coming down. It was the best place I could come up with for something that size though. I *think* its the mic thats broken, because its an old cheap cobra mic, but it could be the radio.

The seat covers I have now are GHHEETTTOOO.. Ill take some pics when the jeep gets outa the stealership.

The hoop would allow me to get my fogs back. Right now I just have low, high, and my 200watts of hella 500s. Foggy/snowy nights leave something to be desired, but the fogs aren't really a priority. I don't know. I think Ill end up with either a new CB or covers. A new CB would solve the mic problem, and the size problem, in one fell swoop. The covers I can live with for a few more weeks.

$50.00, a bottle of your favorite alcohol. That would be a good time.

ya I'd like to get a new CB as well but I love my cobra one too much. I think when my dad gets a rig I'll try and sell it to him and get a new one that actually fits my rig a little better, or maybe just try and place it somewhere else. right now I have it right under my glove box to the far left halfway under the dash. when I put the seat forward it hits, but not enough for me to want to take the time to figure out a place to move it.

ya I'd like to do what Redneckjeep21 did and get a piece of diamond plate and put it between my visors so I get that leg room back for the passenger. oh well it works for now.

Hahaha kinda defeats the purpose of even having the CB unless you're patrolling for stranded wheelers.

I'd say go for the CB cause the one you have now isnt doing you much good and in that rare case when you really need to use it cause you're stranded you're gonna be thankful you bought it instead of a mount for your lights.
