Sorry, but they just have at least 50 threads on this. It's your clock spring. It behind the airbag and requires you to take apart the steering wheel to get to it. You'll also need a steering wheel puller. The clock spring is about $200 from the dealer. It will take you about 45 minutes to do. There is a detailed write up on the Internet of a guy changing out his wife's xj. Which should be close enough for you to follow
