Wish I could help but I will follow this thread. I'm getting ready to have the same problem. I bought a Jeep last week with a big hole in the dash. Thanks and good luck!

I put a Kenwood in my YJ and used an adapter that I bought on Quadratec. It allowed me to plug the Kenwood directly into the YJ's connector. It was nice to be able to install it without modifying any of the original wiring.

Mine didn't have an adapter, it was cut off but I fixed it, check the fuses. That was my problem

Hmmm I'm putting a JVC in my 2003 TJ soon. Thinking of buying the adapter from quadratech as well, keeps it clean. Kevbz you have the wiring diagram for my year? It'll be very useful. Sorry for the hijack btw and thanks.
