I have ridden in both and will stay with my YJ. Hell they are going to bury me in it.

Beside when you a TJ you will just have to mod the grille to still have square headlights!!!

You can save the extra jack and dump it in the YJ. And they have been holding there value.

Why is it a 3 year wait for a TJ?

I like the YJ. Especially if your YJ is paid off and you would have to make payments on a TJ... I have friends with TJ's and JK's. My YJ rides better than my buddys TJ and still feels like a jeep interior wise. After the YJ they seem more like a car to me. Dont get me wrong, I still think the newer ones are cool rides and very capable but I prefer the YJ...

You already have the YJ, I would go with what you got. I'm partial to YJ's myself having owned numerous Jeeps over the past 15 years, but YJ's are my favorite.

I agree withjokerchief, they are holding value pretty good. I have been on the hunt hot & heavy for another YJ for the past month. They're still bringing big bucks considering the newest YJ is fixing to turn 19 years old. Aaaaannd I just made myself feel old.

I have a yj and personally prefer the look of the tj over the yj but that's mostly due to the grill and headlights.
My dad likes the jeeps that are older, I think he considered disowning me when I bought a yj, luckily a jeep is a jeep.

my yj is often confused with a tj by experienced jeepers.
