stickers on the plastic windows?

So I got my soft top jeep a few weeks ago. For work and school, I have two separate parking decals that MUST go on the rear window. If I put these stickers on the plastic windows, will I be able to easily get them off without messing up the plastic?

Just put some clear tape over it from the back and put it on the inside of the window, make sure to use the kind thats like a 3-4" roll

What are you going to do when the top is down?

You could try something I used to do with my old school permit (so I could swap it from vehicle to vehicle). Carefully cover the sticky part with saran wrap. Give it a good rub on the inside of a sweater to give it a little extra static, and stick in place.....of course I was doing this on the inside of my glass windshield, but I'd think it would work with a plastic window....

That's a good question. Ask them if they make any exceptions for convertables. They might light you put it on the tailgate.

If not, my two cents would be to (a) stick it on strip of magnet from a craft store and (b) make a pouch out of laminate or some such thing and tape it the interior of your rear window. When the top's up, slide it in the pouch; when the top's down, slap it on your tailgate.

Yea I would talk to them about it...putting the top down is gonna be a problem and also leaving the top up and just pulling out the windows will be a problem too.
And as far as damage.....I had a few stickers on the plastic window of my TJ...after removing the stickers there was always a weird outline that wouldn't go away...almost like a permanent indent. It wasn't residual glue either.

Unfortunately, someone would probably help themselves to your parking pass.

Yup! Them things are usually expensive! I think I was paying close to $100 a quarter and that was nearly 6 years ago.

I'd put it on the windshield and argue when necessary...especially if they just give you fake college tickets.

There has to be a policy for convertibles. You aren't the first Jeep on campus plus all the other converts out there. Usually its just stick it on the windshield drivers side. Just go to the campus station and ask. For me back in high school they allowed my friend with a mustang to move his to the windshild......college we had mirror hang tags.

Yeah, the only other jeep I've seen around campus had their stickers on their bumper, but it looked like stickers from past years didn't come off cleanly. Not sure I wanna deal with that. I'll have to talk to campus police; hopefully they'll let me put the permit on the windshield. That would be great.

Tell them that you pay alot for tuition and have enough to deal with in your life than where to put a freakin' parking sticker. Then put it on your windshield and if they hassle you then take it up with student services.

Sooo, if you put your sticker on the windshield and then back into
your parking space, doesn't the back become the front?

See if you can get mirror stickers so you can put it on the inside of the windshield.
