What's the best way to store a hardtop?

Yea I've seen the rack. I was just seeing if maybe there was a certain way not to store it. If it could get warped or something. Just a thought I had.

Yes they can warp. Just store them level and try not to put them in direct sun. You might want to wrap it to keep critters from infesting it and cover it with a tarp. I have mine hanging from the roof of my garage. They make a hoist for them but, you can buy the materials to make one yourself at any hardware store.

If you have a garage look at getting a hoist.

On top of your Jeep, of course! I prop mine on milk crates, covered w/a tarp all summer long.

Stupid newb question.
Can I just take the top off and set it down on the garage floor for the day or the weekend?

I built a stand for mine, it sits on the back edge vertical then I can roll it around. Kinda like the metal carts you can buy already made.
