Exclamation Suggestions for the factory to improve Jeep Wranglers

I sure that a few of the R&D guys at Chrysler monitor some of the forums for ideas. I think we need a place to post suggestions for upcoming models on things we, as owners, find need improvements or changes.
I'd like to start this off with a suggestion;
As we have now entered the 21st century, how about adding a hood lock? A lot of time, money and effort go into our Jeeps and a hood lock would help alleviate just a little worry. Thanks.

How about real off tires on all wranglers instead of those P.O.S. They claim are all terrain tires..... And redesign rain gutters so you don't get soaked every time you open front doors !!!!!

Make a ready-to-tow-4-down version for the RV market. Maybe a BlueOx Special Edition.
If the FJ40 was towable 4-down Toyota may not have had to stop making it.

The rain gutters are a great idea, always pours in when you open the doors.
Was also thinking maybe an option for the rear tire to swing out then the tail gate to fold down. Would sure be handy hauling stuff and for fishing.

How about a v8 ? They put them in other vehicles that weigh about the same .Every year they show up in Moab with a v8 conversion Jeep of some sort . I would consider swapping mine out for one then .Other than that , I'll never buy another Jeep .I'll just keep my 61 .

I waited and waited for a diesel in the Jk, but couldn't hold out and bought a '13.

1) Wrangler 4-door with the VM Motori 3.0L turbo diesel from the 2014 Ram 1500. the military D60 in the back w/ standard model coils, new gen HP D44 in front with Ram 1500 brakes, both housings w/ 3"x0.375" axle tubes & lockers. No frills - no power windows, no leather seats, a 6-speed manual trans. All the infrastructure is already there, so it's not reinventing the wheel. Sell it for under $35k.

2) Compass SRT Rally Edition. Model wide, ditch the heavy 4wd...come on, nobody is going rock crawling with these "cars" anyway. Make it lightweight, plastic body panels, cheapo interior, etc. Have your base model grocery getter models, but also make a strip down SRT Rally version reminiscent of the affordable SRT Neon....give it a ~2.5L 4-cyl turbo w/ ~250+hp, 6-speed manual, and let it compete with the WRX/Evo-8 crowd. There's no US made vehicles in this area. Put some R & D budget behind it, recruit a quality race driver, do the sponsorship thing, and race with the WRC cars...USA isn't well represented internationally in WRC, and most in the USA don't even know what it is. That would draw international interest in the Jeep brand in a different light, and it would drum up interest in the young hipster crowd looking to go fast with a USA brand. I suggested this way back in 2008 on JeepForum.

Color coded factory bedliner, with carpeted Jeep insignia floor mats front and back. A no carpet option. Just nice bedliner and floor mats for the clean, hungry for off-road look.

This would look awesome in some colors with tan, black or grey carpeted floor mats, with the Jeep insignia.

A spray in factory bedliner would be awesome.
