Superwinch's New Aluminum Hawse Fairlead

Superwinch's New Aluminum Hawse Fairlead

Here is the new Superwinch Hawse Fairlead. It has a nice anodized finish. The Superwinch is engraved into fairlead with nice detailing. I should have it mounted up soon and will take some more pictures.

I've moved this to General as it's not really vehicle specific.

Is that for running synthetic line or can you run normal cable on that. I would think that an aluminum fairlead wouldn't be good to use with normal cable but thats just me. Someday I'll switch over to synthetic line but thats for another day.

Looks sweet though.

Nice looking fairlead. Took them a fair bit of time just for the logo I'm sure.

I agree that a hawse fairlead is for synthetic and a roller for wire rope, but why do some manufacturers send a hawes instead of a roller with a wire rope winch? My LP8500 came with an aluminum hawse fairlead and wire rope on the drum. I immediately went out and picked up a roller fairlead to replace the hawse with.

I purchased this directly from Superwinch as a replacement part. It was not even listed on their site when I purchase this. Just give them a call and they will hopefully sell you one.
