omg, somebody get that boy a bandaid, cuz he just got slashed.

Jeep looks good, need to ditch the boxing gloves off the front bumper.

actually it clearly says it in my signature i have a 2" bl not 3 also i have the stock tires because i dont have the money for new ones however seems like you like the way a rig looks with 30s and a lot of lit so i'd be happy to swap you my brand new 30s for yours.

RatherBNmexico search around for Mickey Thompson Classic II rims.

Yeah, they will fit. If they have 30 mm of back spacing that's 3" if I'm remember 3rd grade math right. They will stick out a little bit, but not like a mexican f150 with window shades and 10" rims.

mmmmm 25.4 mm = 2.54 cm = 1" Unless my ruler is wrong.

Yeah, in my simple mind I really did think I was smarter than a 5th grader. You are correct, it would only be 1.18 inches. So that cannot be the backspacing on those rims as just by the picture they look to have at least 3".

Rather, have him lay something flat over the back of the rim and measure the distance to the mounting surface. That will be the amount of backspacing on them.

those wheels will be fine...and most of those style wheels have a backspacing of 4". i HIGHLY doubt that they would be more than 4.5" (and thats doubtful) so they would definitely work.

wait wait who measures backspacing in MM? Offset is measured in + or - MM and backspacing is measured in Inches. I hope he is not talking about offset!!!

If he is then ask him how wide the rim is too since you need that to figure out Backspacing. Make sure if its a positive or negative offset. A positive offset of 30mm is way too far forward and it will be close to stock. If its 8" wide rim and offset of +30 (~1.2") then that would put you at about 5.2 bs

lets hope its -30.. double check on that. 8 / 2 = 4 - 1.18 = 2.82" BS

30mm = 1.1811"

Dude - those will be fine. They are Eagle Alloy Series 187.

Direct from the Eagle site:
15x8 Polished 5 on 4.5 Acorn -30 mm 3 1/4 3170-06 2100 lbs. 20 lbs.

It has 3.25" backspacing. Same specs as my wheels(Series 135). They are gonna stick out just as much as mine. And with 32" tires, maybe 3" on each side.

Trip - do some more reading. -30mm is a perfectly fine offset. Offset and backspacing are different!
https://rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

RatherB - If you can get those wheels, do it. You'll be fine, and thats a hell of a deal!

so i gues the flange for that rim has to be little smaller than 1/2" wide on each side then?

then that would add up.. 8.86/2=4.43-1.18=3.25

I guess the whole 8" wide rim confused me.

Az check out post 40...

Awesome. You got one hell of a deal on those wheels. Normally they are like $120 a piece.

Also whats that hanging in front of the rear tire? Since its hanging on both (left and right side) i'd assume its your rear sway bar?

he had that worried look on his face
I gave him a couple seconds then told him I know haha
