Surfing/Skiing Combo Rack

Hey guys, apologize if the post is redundant but I haven't found anything on this topic and am new to the forum. I just purchased a 2013 Unlimited Sport with the dual top group. I was wondering if anybody has found a good rack and/or hack that would allow you to carry skis/surfboard with the hardtop/softtop/top down in any combination. I know this is a long shot but I'm trying to save some money and wanted to discuss before I made an unneeded purchase.

Thanks in Advance!

This is the solution!

I am 5 months late to your post but future surfboard and wrangler owners will appreciate it nonetheless

Amazon.com: Block Surf Single Wrap Surfboard Rack: Sports & Outdoors

These are perfect for transporting surfboards and skis when the Jeep is topless. One rack goes on top of your windshield, harnessed around the front roll bars. And the second wrack goes on your sound-bar, harnessed around the rear roll bars. I used it last summer (2012). I put on my 7'6" and my 5'8" and they fit snugly and I drove to my beach without worrying an ounce.
I will upload pictures with detailed instructions as soon as winter is over. It's the first day of spring here in NY but it still snowed like 3 inches today!

Cheers to all Surfer-Jeepers

I use the Lange Originals rack to carry my longboard:

I like it because you can use it with the top up or down, you can open the trunk with it on, and it is easy to take off. I had to modify it slightly to fit my 33 inch spare, but other than that it is a great rack system.
