Tail Wagging...

Excuse the euphemism but that the only way to describe it. sometimes it feels like my Jeep is wagging its ass when im driving. The rear of the jeep will wiggle side to side over the back axle it feels like.

Ah, you seem to have the dreaded and somewhat mythical rear death wobble. Ask Fatbob309 about that. I've seen his rigs rear end dance all over a lane of traffic.

start checking all of your bushings on control arms, trac bar, and also make sure everything is tight.

no its not shaking like a tire or anything. no shaking at all to speak of. but if im going around a corner and i hit a bump or something, the rear end feels like it move up and down(like its supposed to) and also move side to side. is there a track bar or stabilizer bar back there?

George, you have a YJ correct? Stock, they should have a trac bar, but sometimes people remove them... I'd see if you still have one, if not, you might want to grab one. Also check all of the bolts(leaf springs on the frame and shackles, u-bolts).
