Who am I kidding. I haven't had the top off in 3 weeks. Too cold and rainy now.

I feel your pain. At least I can hope for a snowy winter.

I put mine on today too. I really did not need to. It's just slightly cooler here in north Florida but I'm getting over a bad cold and it helped influence me.
On the good days I'll just run with the doors off.

See, now if you had a soft top, you could just put it up and down, willy nilly, whenever the mood strikes........ Mine went up for the first time in months Sunday due to lows in the upper 30's here early this week. Will be coming down today for the weekend highs in the upper 80's-low 90's... Then probably back up early next week for rain... Gotta love the flexiblity

If I had a garage, I'd sell the soft top, buy a hoist for my hard top, and run a spider shade top year round. If I needed the hard top, just drop it on.

btw, I like my hardtop this time of year. Nice change for a few months.

having spent the last 3 years with a soft top ONLY in Michigan winters I can honestly say I had little to no problems... the heater works wonders but the snow and ice on the back window wasn't always ideal.... now I have the freedom top and gotta admit I am seeing how much 'nicer' it is going to be this winter, warmer and quieter and a clear view out the rear with the wiper and defroster doing their thing

come spring I will be looking forward to the soft top again, but until then I'm good

I just got my ride and had to take the hard top off to remove the soft top as that's how the factory ships.

I'm gonna rock the soft as long as I can. (In michigan too) This weekend looks like it's gonna make it a good call.

My Wrangler came with both hard and soft tops. I just put the hardtop on for the first time, and found that it leaks above the tailgate hinge. My soft top NEVER leaked. After much checking with the garden hose, I saw that it was leaking at the top of the tailgate seal, on the hinge side. The little flap on the top that is not attatched, was not sitting vertical. It would bend to the left slightly. I mixed up some epoxy and glued it upright, like it should be.

It is nice being able to see out the rear window, but hardtop storage is an issue for me. I may end up selling it.

A couple years back a guy with an 06 TJ threw his hardtop away because the left rear window was busted. Lucky me. My friend at the dump called me and it fits my 04 perfect.
I figure as long as I have it I might as well use it..at least for a few months a year.
