The new LR3 hits the Andes south america

WOW
look at that "impressive articulation"

they had to stack rocks

quick turn on the down hill assist

another day on the insane terrain

found it on msn and had a laugh or two or three out of it, thought i would share.

The LR3 is the worst land rover ever.

Land rovers are Euro Jeeps or 'Rich kid XJ's' as my room mate calls them.

LR3 = Liberty
Discovery = Cherokee
Range Rover = Grand Cherokee
Defender 90 = Wrangler
Defender 110 = Wrangler Unlimited

The Defenders are far better equipped than Wranglers are stock.

Yeah it makes me mad. You can only get a 94 95 or 97 and none of them for less than 30,000. I think I'll keep my wrangler, but I want to get a Range Rover as a tow rig. adjustable ride height suspension!? that's just awesome.

a LR3 or any other land rover as a tow rig???? dont the naturally aspirated motors make crap horsepower and have horrible fuel mileage??? at least they use to be that way.
my buddies denali with a 6.0 and awd has adjustable air ride or auto leveling. he puts his big boat behind it and a compressor turns on and levels out the load/rig

I thought the Landrover had thee worst resale value too. im sure you could snag a late 90s for cheap

how is the defender better then a rubi? I love those defenders though they look sweet.

I saw the same article yesterday on msn,and I did like all the different set ups for off road that you can choose from the dashboard.I'm thinking in lease one of these once I'm done with my 2 cars payments.
It remind me my Uncle's Mitsubishi Pajero Limited97 (Montero Limited) that had many different set ups for off roading or on road.
I dont know why Mitsubishi don't bring to the Estates the Top of the line Monteros,these things are sweet for off roading.
