The New Wrangler

I was thinking that since the new Wrangler is under such tight wraps, that we could just design our own. Throw in your input as to what you think the new Wrangler needs. No holds barred except for one. No talk about headlight design unless you have a legit headlight idea.

I know everyone is going to have ideas for suspension and powertrain, so I'm going to dodge that on this post.

What I'd like to see most with body design is a less low profile hood. (Something a little more CJish and front marker lights back in the grill where they belong).

NEXT!

OEM Lift

Start with the Rubicon….

3 1/2" Long arm with full-traction or RE. and 285 MTRs.

The New Smitty Built Bumpers front and back.

9.5Ti Warn Winch.

Poising Spider Full Roll Cage and Rock Sliders.

A gas tank with 5-8 more gallons of capacity.

All Warn Body Armor underneath.

Stock 950W 110V inverter

Onboard Air with quick disconnects

The Automatic disconnects for the front sway bar like the Power Wagon

An option to order a flat fender kit (if you like that look)

Cool Seats with a 5 point safety belt.

And a much louder stereo with stock Polk Momos and a USB Plug for my I-pod.

That should just about do it

Wheels with less backspacing should be standard.

Agree on the standard 44 in the rear.
HP44 (Like they used to put in the overseas model) so you can add up to 5.13's.
redesigned tranny tunnel and a higher profile belly pan.
Keep the rubicon TCase, but make a CVShaft standard. (so you only have to lengthen with lift)

More CJ style hood latches
Thicker wall tubing on the cage (easier to modify to existing b pillar)

That's all I can think of right now that isn't completely out of the question.

$60,000 would be a bargain if someone else does all the work... I will be approaching that in my Jeep in the next few years with all the mods that I have planned, and I am the one doing the work!!!
