Damn. What's the point? Just don't get it!

I don't know why everyone hates on chrome!! In a week I'm going to have diamond plate body armor on my jeep! Besides as long as you love your jeep it shouldn't matter whether people like it or not your name is the one onthe title not some other dude.

1) personally, i dislike chrome, but whatever floats your boat
2) Family tree stickers or "His Boots Her Flops" stickers (if youve been on a USMC base youll get it)
3) "endorsement" stickers to look like youre sponsored
4) plastic bumpers. i know i cant afford everything i want for my jeep but plastic just doesnt look right on a Jeep!

Seriously! I'm really considering keeping a container of blue paint to dip those things in whenever I find them.

There are very few things I "hate" to see on a jeep, but this one does have me perplexed....It's kinda like ladies that don't want to mess up their hair so they only roll down the rear windows of their altima a lil bit.

As for the lifts, bumpers, stickers, chrome, flat black, etc...in my opinion, the great thing about having a jeep is you have so many options, you can make it your own and be as unique as you want, or blend right in if you wish.
That being said, being new to the jeep world, there are some things that I don't see the point of. Maybe I just haven't needed those things yet!

Happy Jeepin!

The CDC agrees with me:
CDC - Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response: Zombies

I have been waiting for someone to bring up the CDC site!

I love those stickers, it makes it so much easier to write the citation. You want to redistribute wealth well I'll just make sure we can take a little of yours to redistribute.

Things I don't like on a jeep:

~"Life is Good" spare tire covers (or any spare tire cover for that matter)
~"It's a Jeep thing, You wouldn't understand" stickers
~Maximum rim, minimum tire
~Excessive chrome
~Rust (particularly on mine)

-chrome
-body lift whats the point?
-stigners that are just for looks
-tow hooks that face the wrong way, yes i have seen it
and finally, what is the purpose of putting a Trail Rated 4x4 sticker on a liberty. can barely crawl through snow. Pointless vehicle.

diamond plate is a whole different story. but chrome is pointless when you go mudding. spend more time shinning it then getting mud on it.

The problem with diamond plate is that people usually use it to cover up rust. That's why Im always suspicious of it.

^Yup every Jeep I looked at before buying mine had diamond plate bolted on over the rust and rot.

Body lift allows a tummy tuck

I don't like the rock that cracked my windshield 2 weeks ago.
I saw it hit and before I could get to the house the chip ran across.

THIS IS SO TRUE!

When I was originally looking for a Jeep I can't tell you how many of them had the diamond plating... And EVERY one of them I asked if there was rust under it and they'd either act sketchy about it or end up telling me there was some "minor rust damage" under it.

Granted, by Jeep was a little rust-bucket when I got it... But no one was trying to cover it up.

Plus... I think diamond plating looks really ugly.. No offense to those that have it!!! Just a personal opinion.
