Bad hunch. I'm 41 and I have them. Maybe all the zombie craze has something to do with a small little tv show called Walking Dead? Maybe you've heard of it?

Personally, I think this section has become an outlet for haters. Just be happy that you have a Jeep and make it yours, no matter what you do to it. For my part, I never plan on getting rid of mine, so who cares who likes it but me?

Why are people hating on body armor and black wheels? Until Jeep starts making those stupid brushed aluminum wheels 10" wide to fit my 35's, my black Cragar steelies are staying on. Stock wheels are ugly

I hate diamond-plate accents. I've seen everything from diamond-plate along the bottoms of the doors to wrapped around the back ends, etc. It's just...gayness.

After reading through this and looking at the some of the Jeeps that people have who have made certain comments, I think that a little jealously might be behind some of these "opinions". Some of the things that most, if not everybody, has agreed on so far that they hate on Jeeps:

- low profile tires and ghetto rims
- lowering kits
- small spares that don't match the other four
- slogan stickers (it's a Jeep thing... etc.)
- spare tire covers

Some things that are much more common and a matter of personal opinion:

- chrome (not my thing but some people like it, so respect that)
- black steel wheels (no, stock rims are not cool. when you buy bigger tires you will know why... hint, they are not wide enough)
- snorkel (expensive and attention grabbing, also good on flooded roads when everyone else is stuck at home, even if you don't offroad as often as the guys with rust buckets)
- stinger bumpers (some people think they they are gawdy, others think they are nasty... in a good way. I happen to be in the latter group even though I don't have one)
- rear light guards (this one surprises me.. what is not to like?)
- mud??? (come on really? you don't like mud? some people really aren't kidding about this)
- light bars (if there is one thing that is almost synonymous with the image of a Jeep, it is the light bar... again, don't have one but I don't hate on people who do)
- external high lift jack mounts (no room inside, sorry don't look.. some of us need them)

Bottom line is Jeeps are probably the most customizable vehicle on the planet. No two are ever exactly alike unless they are stock, which is what makes them so special. Lets not try to stack everyone into the same boring box like every other car owner and let people be proud of how they envision the perfect Jeep.

Guess you don't like my homemade diamondplate UGA license plate then huh? The chrome inserts prolly don't help the situation either. Hah hah.

Definitely don't like the jeeps with those little outline stickers of the cute little family stuck to the back.

I LOVE that sticker above. I need one!!!

Hey, we darker-skinned guys love the top on sometimes in this high-altitude sun. We don't reflect the sun/heat like you dough-colored guys.

I hate stick figures..but worse is the "In loving memory of..." tacked on a rear window. Really? The only way you can think to memorialize the death of someone...is to put a sticker on your car? I miss you Jimmie so I stuck a sticker on my EXcursion reminding innocent passerbys of your death. Creepy and tacky.
