Lost my last pair of sunglasses. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. I saw it happen in slow motion sliding accross my dash on a corner.

I also occasionally have miscellaneous receipts and other pieces of paper tornado out. I figure if I didn't bolt it down, then it couldn't have been that important.

I actually use this as my spring cleaning. Drop the doors and top and hit the highway.

I lost my appointment card for my dentist appointment most recently. I've lost half a pack of smokes, a couple of lighters, lid to my drink, and my shades. Oddly enough, I found my sunglasses on the side of the road on my way back home...this is what happens when you buy horrible $5 gas station shades...you can NEVER get rid of them.

Looks like everyone has figured out how to get rid of those receipts. So yeah, I've lost a bunch of receipts and a hat. Almost lost hats on my head but I usually turn it around and it's safe. The one hat I lost was a spare I had on the shift lever. It's pretty long on a manual but the wind grabbed it, slid it all the way up, over the knob and off the bridge before I could even reach for it.

Judging by the amount of cigs that have gone south with the top off...looks like there is an added health benefit to driving with doors off/top down!

Unless of course you are having this comment with my mother, who is certain I'm going to die with no doors.

Lost a pair of Ray Bans. I had them in my hand and was holding them out the window for some idiotic reason. Box-truck went by and the turbulance caught me juuuuuust right and poop....there they went. Didnt even bother to turn around and try to find the pieces. Too busy cuss'n.

Lost an iPad off the roof. Forgot I put it up there. Didnt remember until later in the day when I couldnt find it. Fortunately I did find it though....a month later...in a drainage ditch near the house. Charged it up...crossed my fingers...pressed the button. Started right up. Sadly though it had extensive rain damage and had to be replaced. Moral: Dont set your stuff out of easy sight.

Just random recipes and straw wrappers, those things seem to magically appear as soon as the doors/top are off.

I lost a pair of reading glasses...I actually set them down on the upper cowl panel (by the wiper arm) and forgot about them....until I was driving and saw them lift up and start spinning around like a Huey UH-1 Gunship...they hovered for a second then off they went!

ive lost reciepts and random papers, my debit card and a joint from my shirt pocket, a pocket full of ones but I think I grabbed most of those out of the air, and a pair of randolphs once when I turned and looked behind me they flew off my face and I heard them shatter... funny thing is when my stuff flys out it always zips around in front of my face for a second like it wants me to know its leaving

Lots and lots of trash, so far all useless. All the good stuff is on a bracket or double velcroed.

I havent had the Jeep to long, but also havnt lost anything, (yet) However I'm very anal about having anything extra in my vehicles. I dont really carry much with me in the Jeep that isnt secured.

I had one smack me in the face and stay there for a good 10 seconds before I could get it away. That was a little scary. I just slammed on the brakes (right before it happened I had noticed there were no cars)

Sorry, mom. We will not "fall" into the sky with the top off.....

I have lost the usual receipts, the temporary paper plates when I bought it, gum wrappers, random pieces of paper that I did not know were even in there and had my hat blow off my head once. I turned around to go get it and saw the 4 cars that were in the oncoming lane. 2 swerved to miss it, 2 swerved to run it over.... But, it is my favorite Mt Evans hat so I had to go back for it.

I almost lost my full length rear rubber mat today. Why don't they make those things heavier?
