things you have lost while driving doorless...

So I thought it would be interesting to know what other stories jeepers have about things they have lost while driving doorless...

I ask because last night I was driving home on the highway with the doors off and my cell phone slipped out of my pocket and I watched as it shattered and the car next to me drove over it....

My favorite white hat. I looked behind me in my review and the guy behind me was flashing his lights off and on and I thought- "Dude- chill out! It was just a hat!"

It sucks getting old. The car seat, especially with the baby in it, kills the mood every time.

My theory is if its to light to stay in its not valuable. Minus the $5 however

Nothing so far. After reading what everybody has lost I try to make sure it's secured.

Lots of receipts, and almost lost an essay for school. Im pretty good about keeping stuff in the Jeep without doors and top.

Lid to a cooler. Blew off the instant we hit the highway. It didn't stand a chance. Luckily the cooler was loaded with ice so the contents stayed cold.

A few hats, receipts, a resume (that was inconvenient), helium balloons (like I didn't see that one coming to start with), I too had the burger top thing happen - never did I think that was going to fly off... then poof!

I've actually clipped hats into the roll cage with my dogs leash when she's not with me. Do I look like an idiot? Yep. Ever lost a hat? Nope.

I thought I had lost one of those useless rear seat floor mats (the ones the size of a tissue box), but found it wedged between the rear seat and the tub. If I lost anything else, I'm not aware of it, so must not have been important.
