Thanks Colo-TJ ) Thankfully, no casualties have been reported!

It was definitely scary; they had us in a tornado shelter here at work for about an hour while it came through. Thankfully, nothing touched down in our immediate area; we just had downed branches, signs, debris, etc.

I heard that as many as 15 tornadoes tore through the DFW area; Lancaster and Arlington were hit the worst. Please continue to keep those folks in your thoughts in prayers!

Thanks folks!!

We were still here at school and all buttoned up tight and we ended up not releasing kids until the storms cleared out. We had one funnel bounce around town (Mesquite), but never touch down. Thank God too as it would have hit near our sitter's house.

A lot of the teachers I work with live to the east where a good amount of damage was done, but they got mostly hail damage and very little actual tornado damage.. Thankfully nobody in DFW was killed and so far only a few minor injuries.

On a happier note, I was driving home from supper with my wife and daughter last night and was looking for prospective mud holes to drive through...that ideas was "frowned upon" by my much better half.

If you have seen them already, there are videos of the Schneider truck yard off of I-20 near Lancaster, TX. The tornado that hit that area was picking up trailers and tossing them around like a 2 yr old with Legos.
