Thoughts on possible purchase? BUILT 1987 Jeep Wrangler..

Pretty close to coming to a deal with this guy but I thought I'd ask the experts first. This jeep is pretty much built from bottom up. Lots of add-ons.

I wouldn't do a ton of off-roading but I'd like to have the option to. Will be my daily driver. Is it too much for a daily driver? He said the only thing it needs is a sway bar links because he took his off. I am student who saved up a bunch of cash this summer working and just sold my car to get a jeep.

Mileage is encouraging to me especially.

He is asking $5500 but may come down some. Fair price? It looks to be seeing as some of the crap people want for 4 cylinders. This one is a 6 cyl 4.2 with fuel injection kit.

Attached is his build sheet.

11 inches of lift btw. A little surface rust as well. 12 mpg on trails, how does that compare to city? Thanks!

Also I will advise you that if you buy this, you will need a budget to maintain it to keep it running. My experience with custom built jeeps is that they need more TLC (=$$$) to keep them going.

Half the fun when something breaks will be determine what the part is out of? Ford, Chevy, Subaru? etc.
