Child #1......"Mom!!! Jamie's touching me!!"
Mom....."Jamie, stop touching your sister."
Child #2....."I'm not touching her!!"
Mom.....Why don't you put in Kung Fu Panda and watch it on the way to soccer practice?"
Both kids......"I don't wanna watch Kung Fu Panda!!!"
Mom........"Stop playing with the electric windows."
Child #2.......Can we stop at Braum's for some ice cream after soccer practice?"
Child #1....."Yeah!! Can we Mom?!?!"
Mom........We can't afford ice cream, girls. Mommy's gotta pay for these Gucci shoes and this Gucci purse. Gotta put on a show for all the other soccer moms. Plus, we haven't paid off your father's H2 Hummer. Sorry girls. We've spread ourselves too thin trying to keep up with the Jones'....."
Both kids....."F*(k it, we'll watch Kung Fu Panda...."

I cant wait to show the ol lady that one. lol

We had a freaking tsunami of sorts last friday. My interior wasn't "wet". I get a few drips when the water starts flying sideways, but nothing major. T tops on my old camaro leaked way more.

That last pic is so sad I really feel sorry for it... No Jeep should have to go endure that.

Also up until I joined this forum I did't know there were so many different types of wranglers. A Jeep was a Jeep to me and it still is although I tend to favor the YJs now. Kinda makes them unique and different.

I found this pic of some skinny kid that looks a lot like me from a few years back with my first (and so far only) square headlight Jeep. That is if you don't count the wife's '05 WK. I cut my teeth on an '81 CJ-5 Renegade. I prefer round, but I love just about anything the has "Jeep" stamped on it. Except if it's 2wd. Then it's just a Chrysler.

Ya know getting on the freeway 60, 65 mph is not bad for a brick. Especially running 33 x 12.50's. Oh ya she barks too when I drop the clutch!

As a 2 door JK owner... even I say the 4 doors suck

square headlights

I'm not one to ask. I'm that guy that talks mad sh*t about how everyone's jeep sucks before a trail ride. Then I get stuck, and I still say stuff like "your sucky jeep doesn't have the stones to pull mine out! No way someone on dinky 33's is getting me out!"

but yeah, square headlights. I'd rather drive an FJ

oh back on topic, did I allread say I like the round lights but if I were to buy a jeep in 1980's it would have probly had the square eyes
and probly some chrome tube bumpers. lol to go with the mullet I would have been rockn with def lepard blairing out with the top down.
but since I was just a kid then, no dice. I like the round cause they remind me of a cj. I would love to have a cj but prefer the coil springs, since its my daily driver most of the time.

leaf springs are like commodor (sp) computers. sure they worked good in 1980 but they dont compare to what you can do with computers now.

I hear ya, they offer none of the stuff a coil sprung jeep can, for example they only need about 3 hrs to install a complete lift kit, thus not giving you the 8-12 hrs for a coil kit which can be used to know your jeep better, they don't get death wobble unless something is real messed up, and even then you can drive it home.. thus no reason to wear dark colored pants. They don't have all those super cool control arms which needs adjusted to the letter for perfection, they do offer a higher load weight in the jeep, which is nice but only means worse mpg cuz you can carry more. They don't fall out of the jeep if you flex too much which mean you will never have a chance to inspect them on the trail. Clearly who ever thought they where a good idea is nutz.

I will say more. i like my YJ because its more rugged and aggressive. But last weekend while off roading
(My YJ: 4" sus, 3" body, 33's)(My buddys YJ: 5" sus, 2" body, 35's)(His dads TJ: 3" sus, 1" body, 33's)
everything that they YJ's took 3 tries to do his TJ did it the first time.

So thats why I decided to get a new bumpersticker: "TJ's are cheaters"

yeah but I allways see them leaf ones with the horrible 2-5" body lift just to get the same size tires of a coil one with half the lift
