Tire height question

Im just wondering if I did the math right. My current tires are 225/75/r15's so that means width is (225 / 25.4 = 8.86"), sidewall rim to tread is (8.86" * .75 = 6.645"), total height is (6.645" * 2 + 15" = 28.29"). So If I were to get 31x10.50R15LT SSR's I would gain a tire height of (31" - 28" = 3"), a ride height 'axel to ground' of (3" / 2 = 1.5"), and a total tire width of (10.5" - 8.86" = 1.64"). Did I do the math right?

anyone have before/after pics of going from 225/75/R15 to 31x10.5/R15. obviously 3" taller and 1.64" wider is gonna be noticeable.

Likely not drastically noticeable since it'll only be raising you 1.5" and sticking out .8" more. (1/2 height delta up and 1/2 width delta out)
