Tire Pressure Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 33x12.5R17LT

Using for street. What should air pressure be for every day use?

The Baja's seem to have a problem with wearing down the center faster than other tires, mine were horribly sensitive to over-inflation. You can check the contact patch with something like spray paint and a sheet of paper/cardboard, jacking it up, spraying across the tread perpendicularly, and then lower it onto the paper, but I'd just start out at 28 PSI and get down to see if the inner and outer lugs were contacting the ground or not. Most people here run tires that size between 28-30 PSI.

Thanks for info! I'm now wondering two things....

The low tire light is on, do I need to somehow adjust something (I put these tires on and took off 17 inch sport rims)? Or is there another reason low tire is on like the 32PSI I have is lower than the door frame suggests?

Also with this tire now on must I make a speedometer adjustment? I see threads about AEV Procol???

I just put on the MTZ tires yesterday set the pressure to 29lbs. I bought superchips flash cal and set TPMS to 22, light went out no problems. Only thing I set tire size to 32" for the calibrator and speedometer was off about 4km so today I measured and I had 31.75" from ground to top of tire. Tomorrow I'll check to see if speedometer is set right.
A must is a calibrator. The superchips flash cal worth the money and is a need.
