okay Im looking to get rid of the tires that came with my jeep.. I was told I could put 315/75/16 on ..Any advice on this size tires and was looking at Firestone and cooper brands.. Would appreciate the help, Thanks..
I put 35x1250x17 on my jeep using 17x8.5 wheels with a 4 inch offset. I had to trim my rock rail and a bit of my inner liner in the rear and carve a bit of my air dam in front for turning. They worked OK on the street if I was not to overloaded or hit a big dip then it rubbed a bit in back. Never tried them off road. But they worked fine for me and the way I drive. The picture is with out a lift and has the 5 takeoff rims and tires in the back. Second pic is with the lift.
i just ordered a set of procomp 16" wheels and cooper stt tires in that size. ill let you know when i get them put on tomorrow. They were pretty inexpensive for the size and to be an AT/MT.
Not sure if you have a 2door or 4door but if its a 2door you may want to put a lift of some sort or they will be stuffed if they will even fit. Also from what i understand using factory wheels you will need spacers.
