Tires; from 30" to 32"???

Ok, I have a stock 2006 Wrangler TJ. Tires looking not so good. $$$ tight right now so I was wondering if anyone ever got two new tires and the other two later?
I was thinking of getting two 32" now (on the front) and the other two later.

Is this crazy, ok to do, never done before, done all the time or what????

Thanks in advance.
