TJ rubicon vs waiting for a JKU

So I sold my YJ a while ago and want to get a new Wrangler. Right now there is a pretty good price for an 05 rubicon thats pretty nice. But I was always saying I wanted to get a 4 door jk. And ive been keeping an eye out for one but I know I couldnt afford a rubicon unlimited.
I do mild wheeling nothing crazy, mostly camping and such, may be moving to Wa in the next year too.

I vote for the TJ but i'm pretty biased as I have one...i'm not a big jk fan, both jk and jku. The tj is a lot more simplistic and way easier to work on.

If you go camping a lot like you say then I say go for the JKU it will have more room then the TJ will. I'm not a huge fan of the new JKs but I wouldn't mind a JKU to go camping with. And they are awesome offroad so I would go for the JKU not the TJ as for space and also go for what you truly want and can afford

I had 2 TJs and 2 JKs and I would get the TJ if you are going to tow it to the camping area but the JK all the way if you are driving there.

I was a big fan of the TJ's when that was the best there was, ditto for the YJ but now there is something bigger and better.

Stay away from ant 05, 06 wranglers, with the 4.0 engine.
They have serious oil pump drive gear issues, (OPDA), so go get the JK!!!!!!!!
Your other option is to wait for a 2003, or 2004 TJ Rubicon.

You could look for a LJ Rubicon too. Extra room and a Rubicon just doesn't have 4 doors.

It's my daily driver...... If I roll it i'm screwed!
