TJ seat belts in a YJ nice way to upgrade your safety

So I had to replace my YJ belts and was not goina spend a ton on aftermarket ones so I went to my friends salvage yard in joco got me a oait of TJ belts and Cherokee Buckels . Now the belts go in just fine cut the aligment tap off the back I used a hack saw or you can drill out the hole on you tub to make the biger tab fit. But you dont need it. Now the clthe buckles are a different story I wanted them to go back in the factory location the cheroke buckles are a thin metal bar they are about 6 and half shorter than the yj buckles so I toon off the plastic cover and took them to local metal shop they cut them and weled a metal strip in them tonextend the lenth for me. 50 bucks but worth it got them home painted them to prevent rust and put plactic sleave back on them. You will need to cut your seat belt light conector off your old yj belt and crimp it to cherokee belt that way light will go off and its still hooked up safety first all in all I got 80 bucks in this mod and works and looks good. And is safe you can find buckles in any late 90s early 2000s chrysler or dodge or jeep ones out of a ram work van will work perfectly because they are as long as you need but did not know till after i did it but you would have to drill a hole in you seat petal and that my work here are pictures and the rear buckels will go in to just cut the tabs and get belts and buckels out of the TJ just have not installed the rear yet . For some reason pictures will not up load so send me a message I will send pictures
