To buy or not to buy

Hi, I'm new here and I've got the opportunity to purchase one of 2 Jeep Wranglers. One is a 95 (red, $5k) and the other a 2000 (yellow, $6k). I don't know much about Wranglers so I don't really know which is more problematic (historically). So I guess I'm looking for a rundown of the pro's and con's of both. I dont really know much about either one except for the year, color and asking price. I'm going to check out the yellow one tomorrow probably with my buddy who has an 01. Thanks in advance.

They're both 4cyl. I didn't take a picture of the yellow one, but here's the red one.
New top
New wheel/tires
New stereo
New front and rear bumpers (en route). The tubular ones
Lift kit (suspension and body for a total of 3") uninstalled

The 2000 has 117k on it and the 94 (I thought it was a 95) has 162k on the Odo. I'm leaning toward the red one (obviously)

I probably wont be doing any crazy off roading (rock climbs or anything like that) but the occasional romp in the mud would be in order.

Think 5.5k is a good price for the red one?

if i were to buy a jeep, it would have to be the 4.0 6cylinder. right now i have a 95' with a 2.5 and i dont like the power. jeeps are meant to be beasts, can't be a beast with a small engine. The price of the red one is a little high. i was asking people what i could get for my jeep considering i had rebuilt engine(6000), lift, new tires wheels(3200) new stereo etc. people had said that i could get 4000 or 4500 if i were lucky. So try to see if u could get the red one cheaper. Also newer might be better, but a jeep is a jeep reguardless the year. lol.
