Today's "Trucks"

anyone see Trucks on SpikeTv today? they took a rubicon and started out just fine...added a 62mm TB, cold air intake, and a little engine management module thingy. then it went south. they took off the MTR's and slapped on procomp at's instead. they added some wider flares and then added WAY too much chrome to it...tube steps, chrome grille, and some hardware as well. was kinda sad about it all. just thought i'd share.

Yeah, their idea of a "great Jeep build" and mine are very different too... I am all about the bling, but not at the expense of performance/durability....

Yeah, I thought that also. I was interested until they put those ATs on there. It went down hill from there.

And who were those two yahoos? When did Stacy leave? Stacy was kinda goofy but man, he knew his stuff and built some badass trucks.

Extreme 4x4 was building a pretty nice Jeep from frame up when I caught part of it this weekend. They were putting in a sweet motor/trans combo with an Atlas II.

STACY LEFT??? I've been working the last couple weekends and hadnt heard about this. Thats so sad, he was a little "off" but he built some awesome trucks. Extreme 4x4 has been building some nice rigs though. I guess I will just watch that for now on.

Hopefully they carry through with the idea. Sounds like it will be a good show. I'll be tuning in!

Gotcha...haha I was confused. I still havent got to see these new guys. By the sound of it though, seems like I would be better off spending saturday mornings in the garage instead of infront of the TV...but I'm still not missing Extreme 4X4!!

So far I haven't been impressed with the new hosts of Trucks! The show will never be the same without Stacey David. He's the man

You can definitely tell how valuable Stacy was...It took 2 people to replace him...and they're not even very impressive!
