Not too old

I bought my first jeep at 55, when I retired. The only regret I have is not buying one sooner.

I was lucky and got my first Jeep at 19. I'm 28 now and on my second Jeep. I do not think I'll ever be without one. I may have more than one vehicle eventually but one will always be a Jeep.

Go get it and enjoy!

I am 43 years young and just bought my first Wrangler. My wife and I have had and an XJ and a couple of ZJ's over the past 18 years but I think I will have a Jeep for the rest of my life.

I bought my jeep when I was 61. I see as many my age driving them as younger folks. I've had it repainted, put on a shackle lift a body lift and all kinds of other accessories. I love it. Hell many people my age ride motorcyles so what's wrong with me and others my age driving jeeps? Top down doors off country music on the radio. Love it.

A guy pointed out the age difference to me in a way I understood. He's 87 and asked me if I knew how it felt to be 87.... When I said I didn't he told me that I sure did because it's the same way I feel now I just don't have the same aches and pains to go with it yet. Go get a Jeep.

the last thing i did with my father, was take him out of the hospital, grabbed his iv and o2 tank, told nurses and security to back off, put him in the jeep, roof down and took an hour drive in the orlando florida area. "it did sort of look like a scene from weekend at bernies" brought him back to the hospital, he died later that night, but he did manage to say, "that was great, last time i was in a jeep was in korea". so, op still questioning if you are to old.

Hey what's with this "TOO OLD SH*T ON OWNING A JEEP" I'm 79 and just bought my first Jeep wrangler in October of 2011.. NO not a new one it's a 2001 ..It's my new toy the wife says as I tinker with it daily.. MY daily driver is a 2011 Prius -- hers is a PT Cruiser
So no one is too old for a jeep

The first one was a 64 with the 6 cyl engine.... What a dog that was.

Bought my 1st Jeep YJ last October 2011, never ever thought I would buy a Wrangler. When I first started out I test drove 3 CJ5's, 1 CJ7, then finally decided to get the newer 95' YJ because of less headaches and things to repair/ replace. Never thought at 47 yrs. old a vehicle can change/ influence your life.... But it has, and I've been bitten by the bug just as every one else here has! I love my JEEP and if I ever sell it, it'll be for a newer one. ))

Just cranked out 76 this month. Bought my first jeep, a 46 CJ-2A split window in 1956. Modded it up as much as you could in those days. Sold it in 1967 and bought a 1966 CJ-5 V-6. Have restored it over the years and added a lot of mods to it. When the wife and I started having a harder time getting in and out of it, we bought an 05 Rubi new in Oct of 04. Been adding lots if mods to it, still not done, got a couple more I want to do. Taking it to EJS in Moab next week, our sixth one. Just passed my 3rd class flight physical and Bi-Annual flight review and renewed my CDL class A drivers license. Still driving large tow trucks when my son's need me and flying planes. Might croak tomorrow, knowing I didn't do it sitting on the front porch in my rocking chair. Your never to old for a jeep, it'll keep you young forever!

Awesome!

I admire your zest for life. I hope to be able to say the same thing at your age. Very inspirational.
