Well I've had my jeep for over a month now and I finally got around to taking it off road. We went down to San Luis Pass in Texas and played for a little while. The water got a little too deep and I hydro locked my motor. Some kids in a f-250 lent me some tools so I pulled the plugs and watched the salt water come out. Front diff had nothing but sludge and water so I drained it today. Oh yeah, I drove it 30 miles back home.

Man stay out of that salt water. That's a rust problem waiting to happen.

Yea, but I'm afraid it'll be a little more expensive fixing-than patching a hull

Good luck, usually it's a redesigned rod and scored cylinder, or compromised piston !!
