Top down during the summer?

there were threads showing Jeepers who had there top down even in the snow.

Who runs with their top off during the summer heat? It has been 100 here and I can run with my safari top on and it isn't bad.

Im in Georgia-if it wasnt for the rain i would have been topless since the day i got it! Sucky thing is, it seems like it has rained EVERY FREAKING DAY for the last month!!!

I do drop the sun rider back (1/2 way) every chance I get! Even if it does start raining, it only takes a few seconds to close it.

More like the last 3 months!!!

Generally I pull the doors and soft top off in April and run with just a spiderweb shade until November, but as mentioned above this year has been a bad one for that configuration.

You would be amazed at how much cooler the shade will keep your Jeep without having to feel like you are closed in and in case of the wet stuff, your top can go up over it. (and no, I do not work for Spiderweb)

108 here yesterday, been topless for a couple days, had the Bikini top on for 4 hour drive on Friday, but put the hard top on for a 5 hour drive tonight since I needed security. I love the variety and versatility. Placing an order for a Spiderwebshade this morning.

It's been super rainy this summer up here in the northeast as well. I've put the top fully down maybe twice this year so far, and the windows have been off a handful of times. I've mainly been using my sunrider because of the chance of showers every day for the past couple months.

And I have yet to remove my doors.

Im to paranoid of the random rain we get here to leave it off all the time, but I do leave it down a lot. Last year during the crazy drought we had it was off for nearly 3 months.

Geez it was 108 this past Fri and Sat. The safari top makes a huge difference for me driving in the shade. I couldn't do it with the TX sun beaming on the back of my neck lol

Same with me. I am enjoying the cooler temps today. Looks like we are supposed to have hi temps in the upper 80's to low 90s most of the week. Riding with no top this week.

I just leave the top up and take the windows out. We get too many sudden downpours here and i don't feel like stopping to put the top back up.

I was considering getting some kind of bikini top for the summer but I don't know which is the best for the money. I like the spidershade idea but i need something that can block rain from the top, just zip up my windows real quick and minimal rain can get in the front area. Are the bestop ones any good? Any other brands people would suggest looking into?

We are warm enough here but have had rain the last 14 days straight...but been dodging the rain and playing hit miss with sunrider on the frameless NX...otherwise it would be top down

I had the Bestop Bikini and it let too much water in around the strap that goes to the foot man loop..... and for me a Safari top makes/ made more sense/ so I got the frameless to go with the duster and wraparound jammer...works well but too humid right now.

I made the drive from dallas to houston and back with my top off. I dont ever suggest doing that. I'm irish so I thought I was going to burst into flames without a moments notice.

I would have had a bikini top but the one I bought was made by smittybilt, therefore not safe at highway speed.
