Totaled Jeep YJ (pics)

I am a very sad man. A week ago today I was hit in my passangers rear tire by a "young man" (i wont say how old the person was). I was doing 40 skidded sideways hooked up and rolled over 4 times totaling the jeep. Cant believe me and my brother both walked out alive thank god the roll cage and seat belts did there jobs. No doors or roof walked away with bumps and bruises. Here are some pictures! Who said wranglers arnt safe!!!!

That's one of the worst I've seen. Thank goodness that you 2 got through it okay. The Jeep can be replaced, you can't.

I can't remember if I was flailing around or not. It was brutal that's for sure. The guys insurance company has not come to access it yet I'm going to give them my slips for parts. If I get enough for the jeep I will probably buy another YJ. Love the Wranglers

glad u are OK.crazy question, does it still run and drive?I would let them total it,buy it back and rebuild. It looks like if you have a new cage built and replace the windshield you are back on the road.plus having a custom cage built would make it even stronger. Its amazing how well it looks to have held up after rolling 4 times.

Luckily jeeps are replaceable, yourself and family on the other hand isn't. Glad you guys are ok! These pics make me seriously consider a welded in cage..

Exclamation Holy crap man!

Sorry to hear about your accident but I am so glad to hear you 2 are OK! That is something to see and I know that the pics don't really do anything to show what you went through.

Like the others have said your Jeep is replaceable but you are not. Heal quickly my friend.

Wow! Glad you are ok.

Give all the receipts and argue for the most money you can get. Then buy it back with a salvage title for $100 bucks or so.
