TPMS Malfunction indicator

Hey guys,

Started my car today and put it in drive. I heard a sound and noticed the dash said I had low tire pressure. It said "low tire" for like a minute then the little tire symbol just stayed there throughout my drive. All my tires seemed fine so I checked the book and it said that this is the TPMS Malfunction indicator. By the way this is a brand new 2011 JK. Should I take it in to the dealer?? Let me know please.

LOL at TPMS on a jeep.

Check all four tire pressures plus your spare(if equipped).

Press. should be 35ish. not sure at what psi the alarm comes in at. Was it cold outside? sometime ambient conditions mess w them.

Anyway, if it doesnt clear after all pressures are verified, and youve driven some, drive it off a cliff. Or take it to the dealer.

or read your owners manual on the part about TPMS
