Tracking bar question

Just put a 2" BB on my '05 and wondering if anyone has ever done the same without also putting a tracking bar on. I'm looking to get an adjustable for if I ever go higher but as of now don't have one on. Didn't think the minimal lift would create too much stress or do damage but now i'm wondering. I realize the offset issue but am hoping to get by on it for just a little longer until I aquire the bar. Risking it or within the limits?

Its pretty much common place to see a 2'' BB without a change in front trac bar.

check the toe in.

Speaking from the JK side

It doesn't matter what model jeep you have, every one is mfd to specs and every one is a LITTLE different

Your 2" lift caused the axles to shift ever so slightly to left/right, but the axles may have been off ever so slightly to start with !!

Two things show up, your pinion angle (universals) will change a little and your axle placement in relation to the body will change--may not look good from behind--relative

After my 2.5" lift myJKU is steady, caster is OK, no vibrations--each jeep is a little diff. !!

Don't forget to check your swaybars for proximity to tires and levelness--may need new links !!

Good luck

I appreciate the input guys, like I said, hoping to have an adjustable soon, just don't want to risk unnecessary damage.

Yea, just make the change and then driveit, if there's no vibrations and no wobble and tracking is OK--you're good to go !
