Trail Rated badges

Anyone here work for jeep? I got someone on the phone who said they would send me a couple then they transferred me to someone else who didn't know what I was talking about. I initially started my search at jeep.com. I just want two.

I'd give you the one off my Jeep for free if I could figure out how to get it off without mucking up the paint. Any suggestions?

Hair dryer on high or heat gun on low at a safe distance. Remove with fishing line. Remove the residue with lighter fluid or adhesive remover.

When I contaced Jeep.com to get one for my TJ, they would only give me one, as that is the total you should put on a Jeep. I DID have 2 jeeps at one time (a 2000 WJ Limited), but not when I ordered. You had to have the VIN of the Jeep to get one.

eBay would be a better/easier choice.

One guy on JF got a couple and BMW Z4-style side marker lights and covered em with the Trail rated badges. Pretty slick.

I just think the look cool I guess. Just not cool enough to pay 27 bucks or more from ebay.

I gave them my vin when I called, still never got anyone who could direct me in the right direction.

I took mine off last week. Heat it up good (I used a heat gun set at 250) then drag a piece of fishing line behind it. I got about half of the foam adhesive off when mine came off. Then I heated it up while removing the remaining adhesive with my thumbnail and removed the residue with lighter fluid.
