Trailering a hard top home?

Any quick and dirty tricks to secure it on the trailer and protect it from damage on the bumps from the ride home?

Secure the rear window? Strap it down without causing spread?

Was thinking about setting it on a thick blanket and maybe taping the rear door hatch down to the sides or something. Face it backwards so the air can't get up under it and maybe a couple straps over it but not too tight so as to cause it to spread out?

Got to haul something else too so not really practical to actually install it on site. Will be coming about 30 miles of mostly interstate but there are always some real nasty bumps and road pavement level issues on that stretch or road.
