Trailers

Since I am trading off my pickup for the Jeep, I've been looking for a small trailer to do some light-duty hauling. Has anyone had any experience with these?
Heavy Duty Utility Trailer - 870 Lb. Capacity

40-1/2" x 48" Small Utility Trailer - 1090 Lb. Cargo Capacity

I've heard some good things on here about their folding trailers but '4X'8 is a little bigger than I need. I know quality is kind of hit or miss with Harbor Freight. My Father-in-law calls it the Chinese junkyard . I've bought tools there that have fallen apart after one use but then I have a hydraulic wood splitter that I have used for years. Just wondering if anyone has one of these or can recomend a good light-duty trailer for a couple of hundred bucks. I wouldn't be using it a lot, just short trips to haul firewood and some Lowe's runs. Thanks!

This is what it looks like now. Fliped the axel and added sides and a top that opens up and is used for a table for my BBQ and camping stove

I would stay away from the harbor freight trailer. Since they are a kit, some states consider them home made and its a real pita to get them registered. A fellow I knew bought one and by the time he got it together and registered for the road, it cost him just as much as a ready to go trailer. For light weight trailers, tractor supply has a good selection and you can pick one at at a good price when they have a sale.

Thanks. I haven't checked into registration in Kansas yet but I know it can be a pain. There is a Tractor Supply right down the road. I'll pop in and see what they've got.

I want to get a first generation SMART Car and gut it and turn it into a camper.
Weld a tongue on and add a tool box and propane tank.
