Trailers

Ok guys I searched and really did not find what i need, I have a small utility trailer called a snow bear Costco sells something similar
but I actually got it for Free so anything I do will not cost me too much.
1. I would like to raise it a couple of inches.

2. tires and wheels 5 on 4.5 bolt circle what do you think? 14" 15"

3. does it look like a trail trailer or just a junk box on wheels?

Link to snow bear: http://www.snowbear.com/page/Utility...Style_Trailers

Trying to figure if I can use this for a cool little trail trailer.

I think it is a great starting platform, with a little time, some decent fab skills, and alot of welding, I think you can build up a sweet little trailer.

I think I would start ith gettin rif of teh fenders, using some spacers, and getting some 15" wheels that match your jeep and maybe the same size tire. Fab up some frame with shackles and get the springs off a yj and lift.

Fenders are no Problem They just bolt on, But here in cali. I think i have to have fenders to be streetable. As far as getting springs that should not be too hard and shackles to weld on i can find something to work.
Thanks

Before you get carried away doing mods, I have a question. Do you have wheel bearings on that thing or just greasable bushings? It looks like one Home Depot sells for around $800 which only has greasable bushings and does not hold up well under load conditions.
