Trailhead Tire Deflators

Any feedback on the Trailhead Deflators .... was looking at the Staun as they have a great reputation, but then came across the Trailhead which are made in America ... always my choice ....

Does anyone have reliability experience with the Trailhead Deflators?

Thanks .... mike

Stauns here too . . . had them for years and they still work great. They are kind of a pain to set up the first time, but they work great after that.

Thanks for letting me use them on Sun. That was the first time I used something like that and they were pretty cool.

yea, I've got ARB OBA and I also carry a Q-89 dual cyl compressor when I take the trailer

I've gotta add a note on the Stauns use---you can set them for whatever pressure you NORMALLY want the tires set at, mine is 18 psi--NOW

When I've dropped the pressure (snow/sand) down to 8/10 psi, I don't mess with the setting--just pull each (PIN) up for about 3 sec per lb psi, or 30 seconds to drop down to 8 psi/per tire

Don't be letting air out of them tires unless you've got a compressor, if you've got them down below 18/20 psi, they're not designed or safe to drive on the pavement, if you want to just go to the nearest gas station--unless it's SUPER close !!

Good luck

JIMBO
