Trans seal

How hard is going to be to replace the seal between the trans and the transfer case?98 wrangler. Mech said he could not get to it the way his lift was. Is it a big job?

OK no real info here. Support the trans block the wheels. Remove rear and front driveshafts. Drop the skid plate. Disconnect speedo, remove t-case linkage and remove t-case mount nuts. Remove t-case. Now you can see the seal

I would do all the seals at once if they are old and save the labor.

89 2.5 TBI, 4" RC lift, 1" Booms, SYE, Adams Driveshafts front and rear, Ford 8.8 with 4:88s, BFG 33X12.50X15, and a ton of other stuff.
