My transmission fluid has never been changed , its got over 230,000 miles on it , and now its slipping coming out of reverse. Can I change the tranie fluid , even though its never been ? Is there something special to do to keep debree out ? Help!

If the Tranny is original, likely due for a rebuild. Many well known Tranny shops offer a free inspection/test/quote.

After 230,000 miles, the gunk caked on the seals is probably the only thing holding the transmission together. Not much point in changing it now, I'd just drive it until it stops moving, then get a rebuild.
