^ i wish i could just wear one on my hip. think about it your gonna think twice about robbing a bank if everyone in there could have a gun. if five people in the bank are packing you cant get off enough shots before they make you swiss cheese

"if you need 19+1 you might need to get your eyesight checked or hit the range some more?"

More is better. 5 rounds of 9mm is better than 1 45 cal.

Just be sure to yell "he's coming right at me!!" between each 5 round burst.

Thanks for posting this. I was having a hard time finding any real information on this thing to give me an idea as to whether or not my Glock would fit, but if a full size 1911 fits, I don't think I'll have any problems.

WOW!! No one carries a revolver any more?
Do you really need 17 rounds vs. 5 rounds of real stopping force?

Back to the original subject...thanks for the post, I had been looking at picking one of these up. I assume you would recommend it? Any problems with the install? How difficult is it to see and read the combination lock....my AARP eyes also are not as strong as they once were.

just an FYI, I talked to Tuffy cause I ordered this drawer and of course I have the seat it doesn't fit under. Tuffy is coming out with a drawer for the JKs with the easy fold seats (if I am saying that right?) this summer according to their engineers...I need that drawer!!!!!

Glad to see the info about Illinois. Its been a while since I got my CCW and haven't kept up with that state...

Sorry for the interruption...carry on.

On a side note I just installed my tuffy under seat drawer for TJs with the fold n tumble seat. Took 20 minutes to do because I installed it then had to remove it and do it a 2nd time (something they do not mention in the install checklist is if you have the little snaps that hold the carpet down on the floor of the jeep, you need to remove one otherwise you can not get the drawer to close).

I am very pleased with the product but it is a tad bit smaller than expected. It is a tight fit for just my gps, sat radio and wallet but since thats all I really need it for I am fine.
